Organise your own event for National Science Week

Each year National Science Week is made up of around 1000 individual events held all over Australia.

To help you run an event we've got lots of information, promotional materials and logos. We'll also help you promote your event right here on the National Science Week web site.

There's also information for schools organising events for their students and local community.

Event funding

Each year we award around 40 National Science Week grants of between $5000 and $40 000. Applications are accepted in October and announced in February.

About National Science Week

National Science Week is coordinated by the Australian Government’s Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.The Department works closely with the Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA), the ABC, shac Partners, CSIRO Education and Coordinating Committees in every state and territory to make this event a success.
