Virtual Jurassic Dinosaurs in the ACT
Science Week is the time of the year when you can reflect on all the great things science has done for us. What was life like before we had our touch-screen phones to play us music, order us pizzas and get our Facebooking done. Now, those phones are bringing the dinosaurs back. At special locations around the Territory throughout Science Week, you can have your snapshot with a Stegasaurus, your portrait with a Parasaurolophus.
Be photographed with one or more Jurassic dinosaurs at a range of venues in the ACT. You will need a smartphone (and see our instructions to make it work). Once you have done this, find one of the orange spots located around Canberra (see the co-ordinates below), hold your phone up in camera mode and a dino should appear. Use your photos to enter a national competition!
