WALT DISNEY PICTURES AND PIXAR ANIMATION - UP

Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios take moviegoers up, up and away on one of the funniest adventures of all time with their latest comedy-fantasy “Up,” from Academy Award® nominated director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.”).
Presented in Disney Digital 3D™, “Up” follows the uplifting tale of 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfils his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. Their journey to a lost world, where they encounter some strange, exotic and surprising characters, is filled with hilarity, emotion and wildly imaginative adventure.

OBSERVATORY HOTEL

The Observatory Hotel and Sydney Observatory have been neighbours and friends for about 16 years. And especially this year, being The International Year of Astronomy, even more opportunities have arisen for us to work together, including hosting the National Tour guests during their stays in Sydney.
One exciting collaboration is the “Wish Upon a Star” package which is a romantic dining and accommodation package which takes the guest from a five course degustation dinner at The Observatory Hotel’s Galileo fine dining restaurant followed by a visit to the Sydney Observatory to name a star after your loved one. The guest will end the evening in a luxurious room or suite.
