Shopping Trolley Science
This engaging and interactive event combines Scitech Roadshow interactive exhibits, science shows and hands-on astronomy themed activities by the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) and other Astronomy WA organisations. What a great opportunity for the community to get into science. Head to Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre on Saturday 14 August.
Forensic Science - a case study
Forensic science is popular in the media and on TV - this presentation will investigate a real life case showing how science can solve crimes.
Tuning In
The Square Kilometre Array, the world's biggest radio telescope might soon call WA home. Get hands-on and brains-on in Forrest Place Plaza on Sunday 15 August with this exciting project as astronomers from ICRAR demonstrate both optical and radio astronomy.
Scitech Comedy Debate
Login to the 2010 Scitech Comedy Debate on Monday 16 August, as two teams clash iPad to paper to win a debate based on science, technology, L33T Sp34K, but above all LOLing.
