National Science Week 2010 Grants Round
The National Science Week 2010 grants round is now open and will close on Friday, 23 October 2009, at 5 pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time.
Grants are available to individuals and organisations interested in delivering a science event or activity for their local community. To apply online, please head to the National Science Week grants website. Updated guidelines and information for applicants for the National Science Week 2010 Grants Program is also now available on this site.
Schools are also encouraged to host a National Science Week event in 2010, and grants will be available through the Australian Science Teachers’ Association early next year.
National Science Week in 2010: 14-22 August
Already we are starting to look to the future and planning for National Science Week 2010. Later this month we will be having a National meeting to analyse National Science Week and discuss the best way forward for the next few years. We will be undertaking evaluation from our event holders to help understand all that is happening across Australia. The meeting is also an opportunity to provide input into a National Science Communication Strategy that is being developed by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research.
